Cafes & Restaurants

There are many nice restaurants and cafes nearby. Portuguese cuisine with many fish dishes, tapas bars, pizzerias, vegetarian options, Indian restaurants, simple cafes with snacks – plenty of choice for every taste.

Arrival

The nearest airport is in Faro, 96 km away. From there you can get to Burgau by shuttle bus, train and bus or with a rental car (offers e.g. on www.billiger-mietwagen.de).

A rental car is recommended to explore the area, but not necessary.

Supply

In Burgau there are two small supermarkets, a baker and the mobile fish man comes regularly with freshly caught goods. Recommended are the weekly market in Vila do Bispo (14 km) and the farmer’s market on Saturdays and Wednesdays in Lagos (15 km) with regional products.

Winter rental

Our apartments, the climate and the surroundings are ideal for wintering. The Internet is fast and stable, making it perfect for home offices. For longer stays between November and April we offer favorable conditions.

Cancellation

You can cancel the booking free of charge until 30 days before arrival. In case of cancellation in the period from 30 to 14 days before arrival, 50% of the booking price (without cleaning fee) will be charged. Cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival are non-refundable.
